the clarity winter brings
Desiring peace, wisdom, and fluidity in my thoughts, I have chosen to practice stillness and awareness this winter. I choose to see the beauty in this winter season, embracing the chill that these cold days have brought us and think about how I’m able to see past trees with their branches bare when in other seasons I am seeing more of the trees themselves.
Both perspectives are beautiful.
But in this time and space, I need grace and patience to see the distance – to see the length and breadth that extends past what is ten feet in front of me – to see the expansive view of hope and deeper life and answered promises further away.
May you too have the grace and patience to see what lies beyond and be filled with hope and life even as you deeply breathe in the air that chills and thrills your core.
